Proprietary Trading desk of a large Commercial Bank is looking for a Desk Quant/Strategist to join their rates trading group. This position will be responsible for developing and quantifying new strategies for rates trading including treasuries, swaps/swaptions, futures and other Fixed Income derivatives. In addition, this person will liase with internal modeling and IT groups to improve upon existing analytical infrastructure. There is potential for this role to move into actively managing a trading position. PhD and 4+ years of experience in interest rates strategy is required.
