Large Broker-Dealer located in suburban NYC is looking for an Associate/VP who will be responsible for analyzing market risks taken by various Latin American trading desks. On a daily basis, this person will be responsible for developing detailed knowledge of risks being taken, suggest alternative methods for managing risk, prepare risk, p/l, and pipeline deal summaries for senior management, and assist in the development of new VAR based risk methodologies for managing the risk of these desks. Candidates should have 3+ years experience analyzing fixed income derivatives and f/x. A solid understanding of risk, risk methodologies and excellent quantitative and communication skills will make up for a lack of specific local Latam market knowledge.
