Leading market maker in the North American Energy Markets is looking for an experienced Natural Gas Market Maker/Risk Manager for its NY desk. The trader will be joining an existing Energy Trading Desk and will be expected to: make markets and quote prices for customers in Nat Gas and related derivative products, execute trades in the OTC markets by voice or electronically, and must be able to manage all risk exposures. The ideal candidate will have 5 yrs of experience in the NA Nat Gas Markets with a proven track record. The role also includes significant client interaction on risk mitigation strategies and hedging. Experience using VaR risk models for energy risk is strongly preferred. The firm will look at a strong number 2 from a top tier trading firm.
