Leading NY metro financial services firm is looking for a Sr. Manager, Scoring and Modeling.
Responsibilities will include:
Build scoring models using SAS
Partner with the business to deliver modeling solutions to optimize the risk-reward tradeoff
Help prioritize the activities of the NA Cards Scoring team
Develop industry-leading risk models and tools.
Participate in the implementation of sophisticated financial models in live operating environments within the organization.
Proactively search for, and propose enhancements to credit policies and scores via analysis and development
Qualifications:
Master':::s Degree / PHD in Statistics or Econometrics with 7+ years hands-on quantitative analysis & statistical modeling in credit risk, preferably with previous experience in consumer credit scoring,
Outstanding statistical, analytical and problem solving skills required.
Demonstrated proficiency in scorecard development
Experience working in and/or working with cross-functional groups such as Implementation, System and IT.
Strong communication and project management skills.
