A top NY bank is seeking a strong Data Analyst/Risk Reporting for its Market Risk Department. The candidate will work directly on the trading floor and will be responsible for developing and producing timely and accurate risk reports on demand used by risk managers, traders and senior management. This role requires extensive use of business intelligence and data mining applications: [SQL Server, Cognos BI, Oracle BI, Sybase IQ, Excel, Access] and visualization software tools such as Spotfire, QlikView. Experience working with financial data sources, financial instruments and security identifiers [Cusip,Sedol, ISIN] is a requirement. Knowledge of market risk is a plus.
