Job Description: Job ID(17914) |
Seeking Sr. Marketing Associate - List Management in Columbus, Ohio.
This position will interface directly with the list team lead and from time to time directly with senior executives (as clients). The individual will complete projects from start to finish (translating business goals into technical requirements, generating customer and prospect lists, logging campaign history to tables that drive automated reporting, conducting internal audits, creating profile, waterfall, and distribution reports). Timing expectations are usually aggressive.
The desired employee would contribute beyond producing high quality and timely campaign lists. They would have an exceptional eye for audit, whereby simply checking that code is written correctly is not satisfactory. The employee needs to learn this business, study our data (and purchased data), understand our volumes and metrics, and know when something is out of the ordinary. In addition to audit, problem solving skills are critical. Once a data/analytical issue has been identified, the employee should have a practical approach and know-how to address it.
Required Skills:
Projects are 'hands-on' where employee will own the entire engagement: consultation, list development, and audit results.
Strong oral and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in marketing list creation and an understanding of marketing and analytical databases.
Proficiency in SQL on various platforms such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server.
SAS Base Certification (if not present, certification will be required w/in 90 days after hire), with expectation to obtain additional certification levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Visual basic programming.
Proficient in web programming, including HTML, CSS.
Proficient in advanced web programming, such as Javascript
SAS Advanced certification
Proficient in UNIX environments
Familiarity, and ability to evaluate, other reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Essbase, Brio.
Specific knowledge of Unica's Campaign Management tool, Affinium Campaign, is highly desirable
