An established and successful fund-of-funds manager with $2.5 billion AUM is currently seeking an experienced accountant from the hedge fund industry to join their team. This position reports directly to the CFO and has managerial responsibilities for several junior fund accountants. Areas of focus will include valuation, performance metrics, liquidity management , month-end closings, audits and ad-hoc reporting for management and clients. This position requires a CPA and 8+ years relevant experience, which ideally would include both some public accounting background with a 'big four' plus several years with a top hedge fund. Must have strong analytical skills, excellent communications ability, and a strong teamwork approach.
