A Derivative Risk Software firm is looking for an ASC 815 (FAS 133) Derivatives Accounting Expert from a Big 4 firm to be based in Chicago to support sales teams. The firm provides a web-based derivative valuation and hedge accounting product that helps corporations, financial, accounting and advisory firms, address complex compliance and regulatory reporting such as (ASC 815 (FAS 133), ASC 820 (FAS 157). The role will be responsible for working on complex product presentations as well interfacing with product development and customer support teams to explain the product's features to clients and prospects. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of Big 4 accounting experience, extensive knowledge of derivatives, hedging and risk management, solid understanding of FAS 133 and FAS 157 and most importantly, superior communication and presentation skills. Certification in CPA, CFA or FRM is a plus.
