A leading multi-billion dollar hedge fund is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their Research team. This is a front office role that involves close collaboration as 'data expert' with a team doing cutting-edge research in structured credit products. Responsibilities would include designing and delivering data, evaluating new data sources, data quality metrics and advising the team on innovative research projects. The position requires at least 5 years experience in data and deep knowledge of structured credit products such as RMBS and CMBS. Expertise with some or all of the following data domains is necessary: Loan Performance, Trepp, 1010data, NCREIF, ABSNet, S&P, Moodys. Candidate should have an impressive academic background, superb communications skills and highly relevant experience with a data vendor, buyside or sellside firm. The need is immediate. The firm offers highly competitive compensation (bonus buyout if necessary).
