A top NY based consulting firm is looking for an experienced operational risk analyst / manager to either lead or be part of a team that will work on Dodd-Frank operational risk issues associated with the changes in derivatives trading regulation. The candidate must have specific operational risk experience working with a bank':s capital markets business on Basel II reporting, risk project management and design and implementation of new operational risk models and controls. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with risk consulting firms or have implemented operational risk controls for derivative trading firms, ie. banks, investment managers. Candidates must have degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematics from only the top schools. The project will focus on derivatives trading risk: 1. lifecycle of the trade - risks and controls 2. trade settlement and confirmation processes 3. business requirements assessment 4. strong understanding of the technology requirements and changes due to the regulatory changes.
