A major investment bank, with offices in Chicago, is looking for a technical lead to join their Operations IT team to design and develop applications that support the firms growing Collateral Management needs. The system is used for the calculation of margin on swaps, forwards, rates and FX products. Candidates will work closely with traders from all business areas and will be expected to be knowledgeable of margin calculations, ISDA agreements and related concepts. Knowledge of rehypothecation, substitution and segregation of collateral securities is required in addition to an understanding of related indicative and reference data. Candidates should have three to seven years of relevant experience developing applications in Java/J2EE with additional experience using Oracle and/or DB2 in a capital markets environment.
