A leading securities firm in New York is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst/Relationship Manager to focus on counterparty risk with major financial institutions and investment management firms. The requires at least 5+ years of relevant experience working on market, credit and counterparty risk assessment and business negotiation for a very active Derivatives, Futures and Cash trading desk. The role will be responsible for due diligence on new and existing trading counterparties (hedge funds), timely risk assessment for specific transactions, monitoring trading limits, and credit documentation negotiating skills and experience with trading counterparties. The Candidate must have strong knowledge of valuation, modeling, VaR and stress analysis as well a thorough understanding of Fixed Income securities, Repo, OTC products and credit documentation (ISDA, GMRA) letters of credit and guarantees. A MBA, CFA or advanced quantitative degree is strongly preferred. Experience working as a Hedge Fund Credit Analyst is a plus.
