A New York based financial firm is looking for a Senior Wholesale Credit Risk Specialist (15+ years) analyzing and managing Commercial & Industrial loans, Commercial Real Estate loans, and the activities associated with Debt Capital Markets. The role requires expert knowledge of credit risk, risk management practices, Basel II, loan portfolio stress testing and the related activities of warehousing and securitizing corporate and mortgage related loans. The role is a supervisory as well as an advisory role that helps this firm assess risk-taking, risk governance, and risk control. The Candidate will be expected to make recommendations that can identify and mitigate risk across the banks lending and trading activities. The Candidate must have significant (15+ yrs) of relevant hands on risk management experience with major money center financial firms, have an advanced degree in Finance or Economics, and the gravitas to work with senior traders and senior risk managers.
