A high-end buy side firm with offices in New York is building-out its database capabilities and is seeking a proficient database developer knowledgeable in Oracle, PL/SQL, and scripting in a UNIX or LINUX environment Candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience and must be skilled in shell scripting, database design, process improvement and working with complex processes. Close and dynamic interaction with other technology and financial engineering colleagues is required. Proficiency with languages such as Perl, Python, C++ and Java is a plus.
