Leading solutions provider located in NYC is looking for a derivative hedge accounting financial analyst for their Corporate Consultant practice. This position will be responsible for client relationship development, customer support, new product development and application testing. Strong knowledge of derivative accounting (FAS 133/IAS39 and General ledger business rules as well as direct exposure to FI, FX or Commodity products are required. The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA degree in Accounting/Finance/Math/or Financial Engineering with at least 2 or more years of experience working on FAS133/IAS39 or General Ledger processing in the Accounting, Middle Office, or Treasury at a financial institution or major corporation.
