Major financial services firm seeks Lead Credit Risk Strategy Analyst in their Delaware offices.
Overall Purpose:
Manage high risk account management strategies for international bankcard portfolios.
Accountabilities:
This role will analyze balance control programs such as Credit Line Decrease and transaction authorization strategies. This role will analyze and recommend new strategies to increase profitability and working with other functional areas, will help to scale these new programs up to yield new streams of loss savings with positive returns to the bank. In addition, there will be an internal client facing responsibility to stakeholders in the Business, operations and senior management. Qualified candidates will be responsible for overseeing performance of multiple balance control programs and benchmarking performance relative to the bankcard industry.
Requirements:
Experience developing risk management strategies and associated test designs
In depth knowledge of practices in credit policy development, validation and monitoring, as well as experience using models and test designs to support strategy development
Extensive SQL/SAS or related analytical coding experience
In depth knowledge of payment systems and decision engines (e.g. TSYS, Triad, Probe, etc.)
Candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to function effectively in a team setting
