An expanding broker-dealer with offices in Stamford seeks a hands-on chief risk officer to head-up the firm’s risk effort. Candidates should have in-depth fixed-income product knowledge, especially structured-products and interest-rate derivatives. Experience with equities is a plus. Candidates should have 10 - 20 years of experience and will report directly to the CEO. The ability to navigate a dynamic, fast paced environment in partnership with multiple trading desks is required. Candidates will need to think strategically about risk reporting, and possess the skills necessary to develop the risk methodologies and processes to quantify the risks associated with MBS, ABS, CDS, corporate bonds, sovereign debt, interest-rate derivatives and equities. An advanced degree in a quantitative field is required.
