A mortgage banking firm is looking for a junior (Mortgage Servicing Rights) Analyst/Trader to join the NYTrading Desk. This group works on risk management tools (mortgage prepayment and term structure models) for sales and trading teams. Responsibilities include analyzing prepayments and relative value in the mortgage market (coupon swaps, rolls, IO/PO, IOS/POS, CMM etc). Other responsibilities include supporting the MSR tradiung desk by producing daily reports and executing trades. The candidate must have 2-4 years of experience working on a fixed income trading desk, hands on experience and deep understanding of prepayments models and the personality to multi-task in a high pressured trading room environment. Masters is strongly preferred.
