Job Description:
An AI consultancy firm that is growing quickly is hiring a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to define architecture and lead technical delivery across a portfolio of Private Equity clients in several different industries.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement scalable data pipeline architectures, including Medallion Architecture and tiered data structures

Lead adoption of managed and serverless cloud offerings across lakehouse and warehouse platforms
-
Drive best practices for ETL/ELT workflows, data governance, and data quality using tools like dbt and Fivetran
-
Enforce data security and access control policies across all pipelines and platforms
-
Ensure robust BI integrations across heterogeneous environments (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
-
Serve as a client-facing technical leader, presenting complex architectural decisions to stakeholders
Requirements:
-
5+ years hands-on data engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Mastery of Python and advanced SQL
-
Deep expertise in ETL/ELT optimization, dimensional modeling, and data security
-
Expertise across 3–5 major platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure, or Fabric
-
Extensive CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience

Proven ability to lead client engagements and influence technical direction in a consulting environment
Preferred:

Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript/Java

Consulting experience
