Marketing & Healthcare Data Operations Analyst
Job Description:

A fast-growing, multi-location healthcare organization is seeking a Marketing & Healthcare Data Operations Analyst to strengthen provider data accuracy, improve reporting quality, and optimize patient acquisition workflows across digital and operational channels.

This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Provider Operations, IT, and Data Engineering, ensuring that provider and practice information is accurate across major healthcare discovery platforms (Zocdoc, Google Business Profiles, Yelp, Healthgrades) and that leadership has reliable, actionable insights to drive growth.

No Sponsorship

With nearly half of all appointments driven by digital marketing and provider listings, this position plays a critical part in improving patient access, identifying performance trends, and supporting scalable, automated operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting

  • Partner with Marketing, Provider Operations, and IT to define reporting needs, KPIs, and data requirements.
  • Design, prototype, and refine dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker that support decision-making across patient acquisition, provider performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Validate data accuracy, test report functionality, and ensure stakeholder sign-off.
  • Determine reporting scale (enterprise dashboards vs. recurring automated reports).

Healthcare Listings & Platform Management

  • Own end-to-end management of provider and practice listings across major healthcare platforms.
  • Maintain accurate details including specialties, insurance participation, hours, booking links, and provider availability.
  • Track listing accuracy, update timelines, and performance trends in bookings, calls, and digital engagement.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding workflows for providers across all platforms.

Data Quality, Integrity & Governance

  • Maintain a centralized dataset of provider and practice information across internal and external systems.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent listings and resolve data anomalies.
  • Ensure alignment between internal systems, marketing platforms, and external directories.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate platform data into internal reporting and analytics.

Process Automation & ETL Optimization

  • Build scalable workflows to automate listing updates, validation processes, and recurring reporting.
  • Create and maintain bulk-upload templates, ETL pipelines, and automated data cleansing scripts using SQL and Python.
  • Reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time for updates and reporting cycles.
  • Partner with external vendors and validate the accuracy of their deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, IT, Provider Operations, and Data Engineering to ensure data consistency and reliability.
  • Support broader marketing initiatives by maintaining high-quality provider data foundations.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years in Healthcare Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Operations, or ETL/Data Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, charting).
  • Experience designing reports and dashboards with clear, actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing large healthcare datasets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and data anomalies.

Preferred

  • SQL or data querying experience (SSMS, Snowflake, AWS, etc.).
  • Python experience for automation, data cleansing, or ETL workflows.
  • Experience managing structured data across external platforms (directories, marketplaces, CRM, healthcare listings).
  • Experience with ETL tools (AWS Glue, NiFi, Alteryx) or automated data pipelines.
  • Experience using AI tools for analytical tasks or workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, ICD-10, SNOMED) is a plus.

Keywords: Python, ETL, healthcare
