Job Description:
A New York area investment firm is looking for a Technical Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience with a deep understanding of business technology platforms and technology project management to implement infrastructure and systems that will drive strategic growth.
Strong Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong technical background with current programming skills and experience integrating and implementing information systems across all aspects of the business.

The candidate must have a deep understanding of business technology platforms, identifying, testing, and implementing third-party vendor information systems.

Candidate must have experience in project management and strong communication skills to drive the implementation of infrastructure and systems that are critical to the firm's growth plans.
Responsibilities:
-
Drive the testing, integration, and implementation of external vendor management information applications.
-
Work independently to identify management information needs across the firm
-
Select and work with external vendor applications.
-
Provide continuous support for the firm's investment and operational process, procedures, and controls
-
Assist in programming for onboarding and implementing information systems and application
-
Support the IT infrastructure of an active investment manager
-
Work closely with business units, (portfolio managers, risk managers, operations, and technology) to understand business requirements
-
Author business requirements and manage the implementation with IT and the business

Perform functional testing of all technology enhancements
Requirements:
-
5+ years working in business analyst roles with a start-up or small financial services firm
-
Must have financial services experience.

Must have deep knowledge of business technology (management information) platforms.

You must be comfortable working in a small entrepreneurial firm working independently where you will be solely responsible for driving the results of the software integration without any handholding from your manager

Must have experience working with process workflows, vendor selection, application testing, and application integration.

Must understand software development principles.

Must have hands-on current technical skills (programming and software integration.

Nice to have hands-on experience working with management information software such as Geneva, Dynamo, Backstop, DealCloser, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Tableau

Must have superior communication and problem-solving skills
